Karen Read is suing several witnesses in her murder trials, pursuing action against key figures in the Massachusetts State Police investigation and people who were inside the home where John O’Keefe was found dead outside in January 2022.

The information contained in the lawsuit, filed Monday in Bristol Superior Court, includes a rehash of information Read’s team has presented both during her criminal cases and in media interviews. It names former Trooper Michael Proctor in his personal capacity, Sgt. Yuri Bukhenik in his personal capacity, Lt. Sgt. Brian Tully in his personal capacity, Brian and Nicole Albert, Jennifer and Matthew McCabe, and Brian Higgins as defendants.
