Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields , who has started the last three games for the New York Jets with Tyrod Taylor battling a knee injury, is being benched for the veteran quarterback.
The three game stretch saw Fields go 2-1 as a starter, but he struggled against the Patriots, and now, the Jets are making the move to move off Fields as the starting quarterback.
Fields struggled for much of the season and also dealt with a concussion for a short time period. His first benching came after a disastrous game against the Panthers in which he completed just 50 percent of his passes and threw for 46 yards in the first half.
