RCMP officers in Nipawin seized several real guns and a fake submachine gun during a drug investigation last week.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers arrested a 44-year-old man in Nipawin on Nov. 10, seizing “a quantity of cocaine” in the process.

Officers later raided a home in Nipawin, where the RCMP said they seized a loaded pistol, a rifle with no serial number which was allegedly loaded with prohibited magazines, a conducted energy weapon “commonly known as a taser,” and a replica submachine gun.
