Lompoc electric utility customers can exchange up to five old, holiday light strings for new LED holiday lights at Lompoc City Hall (100 Civic Center Plaza) until Jan. 30, or while supplies last.
Exchanges can be made inside the city hall building during normal business hours, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for holidays when City Halls is closed (Nov. 27-28; Dec. 25-26; and Jan. 1 and 19).
The program gives local businesses and residents the option to swap out old, inefficient holiday light strings for new LED holiday lights, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
