An announcement of the selection is expected Tuesday morning, said the sources, who asked not to be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly.
Lusk will succeed Diana Sayavedra, who resigned earlier this year amid growing tension with the EPISD school board. He was selected as sole finalist by a unanimous school board early Tuesday.
