PICKAWAY COUNTY — As food insecurity continues to rise across the region, the Well Being Foundation has announced a series of swift, targeted grants aimed at supporting local organizations serving residents in need.
The foundation awarded a total of $24,500 to seven community groups that provide food assistance throughout Pickaway County. The recipients include:
Westfall CARES
Blessings in a Backpack
Ashville Food Pantry
Emergency Clearinghouse
Community Kitchen
Community Cupboards
The Table
Each organization plays a key role in helping families and individuals facing hunger, a need that has grown more urgent as many residents experience reduced SNAP benefits. The grants are intended to strengthen ongoing local efforts to ensure no one in the community goes without access to foo
