JACKSON — A hearing is set for 9 a.m. Nov. 24 in Hinds County Circuit Court for Victoria Cox, who has been indicted in connection with the 2024 kidnapping of a Louisiana mother and her two children, and the killings of the mother and oldest child.

Cox, 32, of Loranger, Louisiana, was previously indicted by a Hinds County Grand Jury on charges of capital murder, kidnapping, and sexual battery. She has entered a not guilty plea in Hinds County.

Cox was arrested in Jackson on June 14 after authorities identified her as a suspected accomplice in the case involving 35-year-old Callie Brunett and her daughters, 6-year-old Jalie and 3-year-old Erin. Brunett was found stabbed to death in her Loranger home on June 13, 2024, and her children and vehicle were missing, prompting an Amber Alert. Inve
