PEARL — The morning show from Y101 will be at the Walmart on Highway 80 in Pearl this week encouraging shoppers to participate in Operation Angel Tree, a Salvation Army program that provides Christmas gifts for children in need.
Adam and Allison, along with Y101 staff, will be broadcasting live from the store from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 19–21, asking visitors to adopt “angels” from the store’s Angel Tree. Each angel represents a child and includes a shopping list with clothing sizes and gift requests. Donors can either shop for items or drop off monetary donations, which will be used to purchase gifts for children whose angels remain unclaimed.
