Jeffersonville officials gave an all-clear for residents sheltering in place Nov. 17 near the site of a chemical spill, which is now contained.
In an update posted to Facebook, Jeffersonville Police Department officials said first responders have deemed the spill near the 5100 block of Loop Road "poses no further threat to public safety."
"All public roadways are open to travel," the post read.
Jeffersonville officials previously asked residents within a half-mile radius of the 5100 block of Loop Road to shelter in place at around 9:25 a.m. Nov. 17 while first responders addressed a chemical spill in the area.
