A Louisville packaging facility is closing, affecting its nearly 100 employees.
Memphis-based International Paper is closing its Louisville facility , 4400 Progress Blvd., the company announced in a news release.
The company also announced it will close a Compton, California, packaging facility that employs 125 workers. Both locations will close by January.
Workers affected by the upcoming closures will receive outplacement assistance, access to mental health support resources and severance benefits, according to the company.
