A man has been stabbed at a basketball court in inner Sydney .

The 39-year-old was found with a stab wound to his neck at Sydney Place, Woolloomooloo, about 2.15am on Saturday.

He was treated for serious injuries before being rushed to hospital in a stable condition.

Police have established a crime scene and an investigation is underway.

It’s not yet clear who attacked the man.
