LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers in Lorain County are investigating after a car and a Keystone Local School District bus were involved in a crash that killed one person and injured two others.

According to the OSHP, the crash happened at the intersection of Parsons Road and state Route 301 in Carlisle Township on Tuesday morning at around 9:36 a.m.

OSHP says its preliminary investigation reveals that a 2006 Buick traveling east on Parsons Road failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by a school bus traveling southbound on state Route 301.

The crash caused the bus, which was not transporting students at the time of the crash, to overturn.
