Middleton police search for missing person near Lakeview Park, public asked to avoid area

MIDDLETON, Wis. — The Middleton Police Department has asked the public to avoid the area of Lakeview Park as they search for a missing person.

The alert was issued at approximately 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Residents are advised to steer clear of the area until further notice.

Middleton police confirmed to Channel3000.com that the "law enforcement operation" is part of the search efforts.

Officials said they will provide additional information as it becomes available or until the alert is canceled.
