Reed Street house fire victim identified by coroner

The Allen County Coroner's office has identified the victim in the November 11 fire at 3017 Reed Street.

The deceased was positively identified as Willie L. Williams, 77, of Fort Wayne.

The cause of death was smoke inhalation and thermal burns.

The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Fire Department, Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Prosecutor’s office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
