Andhra Pradesh has signed a ₹515-crore agreement with a consortium led by ThunderPlus, along with ETO Motors and Roqit, to develop a multi-modal electric mobility and charging network across the state.
The Memorandum of Understanding was formalised with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board during the Andhra Pradesh Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 18, 2025.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu endorsed the MoU in the presence of Industries and Commerce Minister TG Bharath. Naidu reviewed the consortium’s mobility blueprint and assured fast-track clearances for the project.
The program is projected to create more than 5,000 jobs, including 1,450 direct and 3,100 indirect roles, with dedicated opportunities for women in fleet operations, charging station management,
