Restaurants across the nation are set to serve their take on the Thanksgiving meal, with some national chains offering a Thanksgiving meal to eat at home.
Ordering in can reduce the stress tied to the holiday family get-together and certainly reduce the dishes needing to be washed after the fall feast.
Outsourcing also frees up chefs who would otherwise watch the day's entertainment, including the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the NFL's slate of games.
Here's where to get a Thanksgiving dinner to-go:
Restaurants offering Thanksgiving dinner to-go
Bob Evans
Customers can pre-order a "Farmhouse Feast" with either ham or turkey to feed four or eight guests. The feasts come with the chosen main dish, bread & celery dressing, corn, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans with ham, cranberry relish, rolls and pumpkin pie. The four-serving feast costs $89.99 for ham and $99.99 for turkey, while the eight-serving feast costs $129.99 and $132.99, respectively.
A "Premium Farmhouse Feast" that feeds up to 10 people and has both main dish choices with the addition of macaroni and cheese and an apple pie is also on offer for $164.99.
Customers can also order a "Holiday Hot Family Meal" with both turkey and ham, plus sides that serve six, for $109.99. A "Premium Celebration Platter," with turkey, ham and sides, for individuals.
The "Farmhouse Feasts" can be ordered until Nov. 25.
Cracker Barrel
Cracker Barrel is offering two options on its heat-and-serve menu for Thanksgiving:
- Thanksgiving Heat & Serve Family Dinner – One oven-roasted turkey breast, sweet potato casserole and green beans served with cornbread dressing, gravy, cranberry relish and rolls; feeds 4-6 people.
- Thanksgiving Heat & Serve Feast – Two oven-roasted turkey breasts, sweet potato casserole, green beans, mashed potatoes with cornbread dressing, gravy, cranberry relish and rolls, with pumpkin and pecan pies for dessert; feeds 8-10 people.
Both are available for pickup starting Nov. 22 and meals start at $114.99.
Denny's
Denny's is offering a "Turkey Bundle" starting at $54.99.
The diner chain's Thanksgiving offer includes: turkey breast, savory stuffing, red-skinned mashed potatoes, a choice of corn or broccoli as a second side, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce.
The bundle is available from 9 a.m. ET Nov. 21 to 6 p.m. ET Nov. 26. Pickup is available 24 hours after an order has been placed.
Maggiano's Little Italy
Italian restaurant Maggiano's is offering hot and cold carryout bundles for Thanksgiving that serve four to five people. The cold bundles are $210 and will be available for pick-up on Nov. 26, while the hot bundles are $220 and will be available for pick-up on Nov. 27.
The menu includes:
- Chef's signature Caesar salad
- Traditional roasted turkey with gravy and sage & sausage stuffing
- Country-style smoked ham with whipped sweet potatoes
- Spaghetti & meatballs
- Four-cheese ravioli
- Garlic mashed potatoes
- Cranberry relish
- Pumpkin praline cheesecake
- Chocolate layered cake
- Freshly baked bread
A sides-only bundle is also offered for $50.
Online orders begin Nov. 20, though customers can call a location to order before online ordering opens.
Popeyes
Popeyes is once again offering its Cajun-style turkey for Thanksgiving.
Customers can pre-order the bird on the Popeyes app, website or participating restaurants. The company will ship the bird for $99, or customers can pick it up for $54.99.
The option was met with popular demand last year as the fried chicken restaurant sold out of the bird online.
