Fans awaiting Sony and Nintendo’s live-action “Legend of Zelda” movie finally got a first look at the film Monday.
Nintendo released images on X showing actors Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Princess Zelda and Link, respectively, marking the first official sneak peek at the adaptation of the video game franchise.
Shigeru Miyamoto , who is producing the film, shared the update. Miyamoto — the legendary Nintendo game designer behind the original Zelda series alongside Takashi Tezuka — added in the comments, “Filming is on track for the film’s release on May 7, 2027. It will take a while until the release, so we would be grateful if you would wait patiently and look forward to it (2/2).”
