MACON, Ga. — A Macon man was charged with breaking into multiple downtown businesses over the span of a few months, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

They say Raymond Lester Andrews Jr. was charged with three counts of felony second degree burglary.

According to the sheriff's office, they say deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Cherry Street over a suspicious person.

When there, they said that a witness pointed out a person of interest, who was accused of breaking into Fatty's Pizza in downtown Macon on Oct. 15 and Nov. 12.

The man — identified as Andrews — was taken into custody at the intersection of Poplar and Second Street.
