BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WFSB) - A Vernon man was sentenced for enticing minors to send him sexually explicit images on Snapchat, federal prosecutors announced on Tuesday.

Daryl Todd, 45, was sentenced on November 5 to 84 months in prison and 5 years of supervised release.

Investigators with the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force found that Todd used Snapchat to communicate with minor girls and persuade them to send explicit images, sometimes offering money through Cash App in exchange.

Prosecutors said he also sent sexually explicit images of himself to the victims.

Todd was arrested on March 7, 2024. A search of his cellphone and tablet revealed additional explicit images of minor females, prosecutors said.

He pleaded guilty on April 8, 2025, to receipt of child pornography.
