SALT LAKE CITY — Health officials in central Utah identified two cases of measles in residents of the area Monday.

In a press release, the Central Utah Health Department said the two cases of measles were found in unvaccinated individuals who were recently in contact with people they believe also have measles.

The health department has identified and is currently contacting a “small number” of people who may have been exposed to the two individuals who tested positive for the disease.
