Six students were hurt, and a woman was in critical condition, after a school bus with dozens of children aboard crashed with a car amid rainy conditions in Phoenix, fire officials said.

Phoenix Fire crews were sent around 9:30 a.m. to the crash near 16th Street and Glendale Avenue, according to an email from Phoenix Fire Capt. DJ Lee.

A total of 68 children were on the bus at the time. All children were evaluated on the scene and parents were contacted.

The fire department took one woman to a hospital in critical condition.
