An Oakland County physician who illegally sold cancer treatment drugs has been sentenced to prison and ordered to forfeit millions of dollars.
At a recent hearing in federal court in Detroit, U.S. District Judge Brandy McMillion sentenced 52-year-old Naveed Aslam of West Bloomfield to 18 months in prison and ruled he must give up more than $2.6 million he gained from his $17 million-plus criminal scheme which diverted pricey prescription medications from patients.
