SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: WHAT STOP SIGNS?

Reported at 1:33 a.m. on Nov. 10: The driver of a Honda Civic sailed through four stop signs on Abbott Avenue and Hillcrest Avenue, failed to stop for the flashing lights and siren of a police vehicle, and ran yet another stop sign at the intersection of Monticello Avenue and McKinney Avenue before speeding onto U.S. 75.

Shady stealers forced their way into the front door of Occhiali Modern Optics in The Plaza at Preston Center at about 12:10 a.m. and stole several pairs of sunglasses.
