The Stein-Sapir family is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved mother, Lorelei, who passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2025, in Cleveland. She was born July 24, 1944, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was working for Clairol in New York City when she met her late husband, Cleveland-native Leonard Stein-Sapir.

She is survived by her four children, Adam (Thandi), Aaron (Gillian), Joshua (Jessie) and Sarah (Gabriel), and will be missed by her six grandchildren.

Lorelei was an active member of the Cleveland community, former chair of Israel Bonds and on the Cleveland Museum of Art Womens Council.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 20 at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel at 1985 S. Taylor Road in Cleveland Heights.
