Former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster has revealed how he once turned down the opportunity to appear on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here .
The shot-stopper made 23 appearances for United during a five-year stint after joining from Stoke City in 2005. While Foster mostly served as an understudy to Edwin van der Sar and Tomasz Kuszczak during his time at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson .
He later went on to make 390 Premier League appearances during his career, featuring for the likes of Watford and West Bromwich Albion . The 42-year-old first retired in September 2022, after his contract with Watford ended. It was around that time that he was approached to appear on the hit reality show on ITV .
