A dog was heroically rescued after he fell nearly 100 feet down a cliff in Scotland.

On Nov. 13, the HM Coast Guard rescued a 2-year-old collie named Whisp around 11:10 a.m. The crew found the black-and-white canine about 30 meters (over 98 feet) down a cliff in Heylor, Shetland, after the fall.

As the Coast Guard explained on Facebook , the dog was on a "rocky ledge" that was inaccessible from the seaward side of the cliff. So, rescue teams set up rope equipment and sent a rope tech
