Barry Dunning Jr. sank seven 3-pointers and scored a season-high 23 points while leading Pitt to an 84-50 nonconference win over Bucknell on Monday in Pittsburgh.
The South Alabama transfer shot 8 of 13 from the floor and went 7 of 11 from 3-point range. Dunning also grabbed seven rebounds as the Panthers (4-1) improved to 4-0 at home.
Cameron Corhen, Omari Witherspoon, Brandin Cummings and Nojus Indrusaitis all finished with 11 points for Pitt.
Bucknell (2-3) was led by Ruot Bijiek with 11 points.
The Panthers outscored the Bison 46-25 in the second half. Pitt ended up with shooting 50.8% (31 of 61) from the floor to 27.7% (13 of 47) for Bucknell.
