LOS ANGELES -- A new trailer for Searchlight Pictures' "Is This Thing On?" is here, giving us a closer look at Will Arnett and Laura Dern in the dramedy directed by Bradley Cooper. It premieres in select theaters December 19.

"Is This Thing On?" follows Alex (Arnett), a middle-aged man facing an impending divorce from Tess (Dern). Alex seeks new purpose in the New York comedy scene, while Tess confronts the sacrifices she made throughout their marriage.

Starring alongside Arnett and Dern are Andra Day, Bradley Cooper, Christine Ebersole, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes and Scott Icenogle.

In addition to directing and starring, Cooper, along with Arnett and Mark Chappell, wrote the screenplay. The film is produced by Cooper and Arnett, with Weston Middleton and Kris Thykier.
