The Houston Astros seem bound to lose their ace, Framber Valdez, in free agency this winter. Valdez's contract ran out at the end of the season, and The Athletic's Jim Bowden recently projected Valdez would sign for $190 million this winter.
There are bound to be a lot of suitors for the star lefty this winter. Plenty of big market teams need to add pitching this winter, including the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets.
Sportsnaut's Matt Johnson recently predicted Valdez would sign a huge deal with the Blue Jays in free agency.
