The Second Annual Emporia International Food & Drink Festival will bring a world of flavors to downtown Emporia from Nov. 20–23, offering residents a chance to sample dishes and drinks inspired by countries represented at Emporia State University.
The event, hosted by Emporia Main Street and ESU’s Office of International Education, pairs local businesses with international students to develop special menu items that reflect their home cultures. Each dish or drink will be sold individually during the festival, available at participating locations throughout their normal business hours.
Festivalgoers can pick up a free passport — serving as a guide through the culinary tour — at Emporia Main Street, the Office of International Education, or any business taking part in the event.
