A Manchester woman and a male passenger were seriously injured when a car New Hampshire State Police said may have been speeding crashed into a concrete barrier at the Bedford Toll Plaza Tuesday morning.

Two of three dogs in the car died in the crash, according to a State Police news release.

Troopers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash at 9:17 a.m. The preliminary investigation determined that a gray 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by Cheryl North, 76, of Manchester, was traveling southbound on the F.E. Everett Turnpike when the vehicle veered and crashed into a concrete barrier at the toll plaza. An adult male passenger and three dogs were also in the vehicle.
