An Israeli airstrike targeting a Palestinian refugee camp in Southern Lebanon has resulted in the deaths of 11 individuals and injuries to four others, according to reports from state media and the Lebanese health ministry.

The state-run National News Agency confirmed that a drone struck a vehicle in the parking lot of a mosque located within the Ein el-Hilweh camp, near the coastal city of Sidon.

The Israeli military has defended the attack, stating that the location served as a training center for Hamas, which was allegedly preparing attacks against Israel. The military emphasized its ongoing commitment to combatting Hamas activities wherever they occur.
