ELLENVILLE, N.Y. — Four teenagers have been charged with an assault on a 17-year-old on Warren Street, Ellenville police said Monday.
On Monday, Nov. 12, at about 5 p.m. police responded to a reported assault on the teen as he walked home from school.
The suspects allegedly “knocked the victim to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked him about the face and body,” according to a press release. A passer-by came upon the assault and scared off the alleged attackers, who fled on foot.
Police have identified all of the suspects and “over the course of the last few days” three of them were arrested and a fourth is being sought, police said, without releasing any of the suspects’ names.
Two 16-year-olds males and one 18-year-old male were charged with felony attempted gang assault. Th
