MA’ILI, Hawaii (Island News) – The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) is investigating a robbery incident that occurred at a bus stop in Ma’ili Tuesday morning.
At approximately 7:05 a.m. a 15-year-old girl was waiting at a bus stop in the area of Farrington Hwy and St. Johns Road when a white Kia sedan pulled up with four men wearing black clothing and black ski masks.
According to HPD, one of the four men got out of the car and brandished a handgun before taking money from the girl’s backpack. The men left the scene in the Kia.
Officials said that the girl was not injured as a result of the incident.
Police are investigating the case as Robbery in the First Degree.
