Shedeur Sanders’ pursuit of a dream NFL debut became the worst nightmare of his career at Huntington Bank Field on Sunday. The Cleveland Browns faced a heavy defeat at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens (23-16). Hoping to get the Browns back on track after Dillon Gabriel left with a concussion, Sanders fumbled big time with his three incompletions. Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe , however, doesn’t think it was Sanders who was at fault, but head coach Kevin Stefanski .

Sharpe called out Stefanski for poor decision-making and relying too much on the primary quarterback. He defended Sanders’ inaccurate throws, adding that it was natural for a young rookie to make mistakes. Nonetheless, Sanders could only complete 4 passes out of 16 attempts for 47 yards and a costly interception.
