LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville area students have the chance to have their art featured on the side of a TARC bus with the return of an annual competition.
TARC and the Portland Museum are hosting the 26th annual Design-a-Bus contest right now.
Students are invited to create a piece of art inspired by this year’s theme: Portals of Transition. This could be artwork showing a period of change, trying something new or exploring a place.
The top 10 pieces will be featured on a custom TARC bus.
Students will need to submit their artwork and fill out the entry form on TARC’s website.
Elementary, middle, and high school students in Jefferson, Oldham, and Bullitt counties in Kentucky and Floyd and Clark counties in Southern Indiana are invited to participate.
