LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It's been two weeks since a UPS cargo plane crashed just south of the Louisville's international airport and recovery is slowly ongoing at the crash site.

Fourteen people were killed in the crash , which injured more than a dozen others as well.

In an update Tuesday, UPS Airlines President Bill Moore spoke for the first time in Louisville after the crash, expressing his condolences to those impacted.

“My words cannot describe how painful it has been over the last two weeks. We know it has been exceptionally challenging," Moore said. "I can only imagine how challenging it’s been for the families of the victims.”
