John Robert Olszewski, 93 of Coloma passed away November 14, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on January 20, 1932 in Mesick, Mich. After graduation, he joined the Army during the Korean War for three years. John graduated from Ferris State in 1960, then on with his career, working eight years for Acme TV and then Whirlpool where he worked until retiring in 1995. John was a loving husband to his wife Marlene of almost 70 years. He deeply loved his children, grand children and great grandchildren. He enjoyed playing his button accordion and was a great polka dancer, usually being the first one on the floor. John had a sense of humor that could sometimes cause more groans than laughter.
