A sister wrestled a petrol canister from her "jealous" ex-partner before he torched the family home, killing her sister and her sister's three young children, a court heard.

Antonia Gawith is said to have desperately fought Sharaz Ali when he stormed the property in a "revenge" attack. Motivated "by jealousy and fuelled by drink and drugs" after the end of their "abusive" seven-year abusive relationship, he forced his way into the house, poured petrol inside and set it alight, jurors heard.
