DALLAS — Could once-popular -- and controversial -- Deep Ellum bar Rodeo Dallas be moving Uptown? A new Rodeo Uptown social media page suggests it's possible.

According to the Rodeo Uptown Instagram page, the venue is seeking staff for a location at 2922 Hall Street, which is the former home of The Palms.

"UPTOWN Dallas! See you this weekend," a post on the Rodeo Uptown Instagram page read. It's unclear whether Rodeo Uptown is intended to replace Rodeo Dallas or serve as another location for Dallasites. WFAA has reached out to representatives of Rodeo Dallas and Rodeo Uptown for comment.

Rodeo Uptown's followers were quick to react in the comments, though.

"Christmas came early," one follower wrote. "The world is healing," another chimed in.
