MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The 2025 PGA Tour Champions American Family Insurance Championship raised more than $2 million, which will go toward nonprofits in the Madison area.
About half of the $2 million will be sent to the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison. The rest of the money will be sent to more than 160 local charities.
The host of the tournament, Steve Stricker, said he looks forward to this event every year.
“We’ve found a way to generate a lot of charitable dollars to be able to give back to the children’s hospital,” said Stricker. “To see Lainey hit the ceremonial opening tee shot every year knowing what the children’s hospital means to this community and families like that it’s uh very special.”
