CLEVELAND, Ohio — What are some of the things we’ll be shaking our heads and saying about the Browns in January? Sunday gave us an obvious one.

How did the Browns manage to waste this defense?

This isn’t the 2000 Ravens or 1985 Bears, but this defense is too good for a 2-8 team.

Yes, they share in some of the blame for the record. They shouldn’t have allowed Carson Wentz to drive 80 yards in London. They should have at least given their offense the ball back in the Jets game, even if we know the offense wasn’t going to hold up their end of the bargain.

As a whole, this defensive performance is being wasted.
