CLEVELAND, Ohio – Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams has recalled one batch of Passion Fruit Dreamsicle Ice Cream Bars because they may contain undeclared wheat and soy, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The product was distributed in grocery stores nationwide.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy or wheat run the risk of life-threatening allergic reactions if they eat the product.

The recalled cartons have batch code 25-210 on the top of the carton.

The Columbus-based company initiated the recall after a crunch topping from another product was introduced inadvertently to the batch of the ice cream bars.

Customers who have purchased the product are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
