Ahead of senior day vs. Michigan State, the Register's Chad Leistikow and Tyler Tachman assess what remains for Iowa to squeeze out of this season after several painful losses. They also look at the Hawkeyes' updated injury situation.

The Hawkeyes (6-4, 4-3 Big Ten Conference) will need to get off the mat again following a grueling road loss to USC. Iowa is trying to end its first two-game regular-season losing streak since 2022.

Meanwhile, Michigan State (3-7, 0-7) is struggling just to get to the 2025 finish line. The Spartans started 3-0 before losing seven consecutive Big Ten contests. Michigan State suffered a 28-10 home loss to Penn State last time out.
