LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a bill Tuesday that would require the full release of files related to the Jeffery Epstein investigation.
A Republican lawmaker from Louisiana was the lone no vote to release the Epstein files.
Tuesday's vote was a pivotal moment for long-held demands that the Department of Justice release its case files on Epstein, a well-connected financier who died in a Manhattan jail while awaiting trial in 2019 on charges he sexually abused and trafficked underage girls.
