The Alaska Children’s Trust is partnering with State Troopers to help children learn how to stay safe online through a new program called K9 Sunny’s Online Adventure.
Created with input from families and early childhood experts, the program features State Trooper K-9 Sunny and includes a comic, educational cards, and other engaging materials. The goal is to equip kids with the tools to navigate the online world and recognize potential dangers.
“This does not prevent it 100%, but does prepare them so, one, they can identify. Maybe when someone says they are somebody, but they’re not, and or if they have a negative interaction, what do they do? How do they process it?” said Trevor Stores, CEO of the Alaska Children’s Trust.
