Fans of the Tartan Army in Glasgow were over the moon as two very late Scotland goals sent Scotland to the 2026 World Cup in North America - the fist time the nations men's team has done so since 1998.
Punters in The Ark, in Glasgow city centre, erupted when McTominay's sensational overhead kick found the back of the net.
However, it's never easy for Scotland, and Denmark fought back. They had the chance to equalise from the spot following a foul from Liverpool's Andy Robertson. Rasmus Højlund calmly tucked it away, denting Scotland's hopes.
But Scotland kept pushing and when Rasmus Kristensen was sent off for a second booking, the Tartan Army were boosted, and super-sub Shankland put Scotland back into the lead with 12 minutes to go.
