Police have made three further arrests in connection with the death of Greenock dad Robert Best.
Two women, aged 41 and 64, and a 41-year-old man have been arrested in connection with his death after police were called to a report of a body found within a field near High Mathernock Farm near Kilmacolm on November 11.
He was identified as 50-year-old Robert, who has been reported missing on the same day as the discovery.
Two men, aged 44 and 51, were previously arrested and charged in connection with Robert’s death.
Both appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 12 November, 2025.
A 45-year-old man was previously arrested in connection with assault and released pending further enquiries.
