Red card sinner Rasmus Kristensen held his hands up and took the blame for Denmark missing out on automatic World Cup qualification.
The defender was sent off for two bookings for fouls on John McGinn .
He knew the second booking was soft by accepted he gave referee Szymon Marciniak a decision to make.
He walked at 1-1 and Scotland went on to win 4-2 and book their place at the World Cup .
The decision has left the natives in Denmark potty - including national outlets - but the player himself knows he was in the wrong.
Kristensen admitted: "I was disappointed with the red card.
"Not with the referee specifically, but with myself.
"It was the wrong decision to challenge McGinn for the ball from that position.
"I feel like I let my team down.
