SUGAR LAND, Texas — Sugar Land will debut a new social district on Dec. 5 , allowing residents and visitors to carry alcoholic beverages outdoors in designated areas of Sugar Land Town Square and First Colony Mall.

The Sugar Land Social District is designed to create a more walkable, connected community while supporting local restaurants and bars. Visitors may carry drinks in clearly marked cups purchased from participating establishments within the district boundaries.
